Word of the Week – Pets

I have had pets most on my life. And I genuinely loved and did my best to care for them. I kept their bowls filled with water and food as needed. They were sheltered, cleaned up after, and played with.

Our pets require the same considerations during a disaster or emergency that we do. Shelter, food, water, and they will need to go poo, or pee at some time.

Our pets look to us for comfort and support. They have our backs when needed, and we should have theirs.

You are responsible for the health and welfare of your pets; they will not leave you. Please don’t leave them.
