For more than three decades, I’ve helped individuals, families, and organizations prepare for uncertainty, before it becomes crisis. As a retired U.S. Army Senior Infantry Drill Sergeant, instructor, and emergency-planning consultant, my work focuses on one simple truth:
People don’t fail in emergencies because they don’t care. They fail because no one showed them how to prepare in a way that actually works.

A Practical Path to Readiness

My commitment to emergency preparedness began long before it became a profession. I experienced firsthand how quickly normal life can be disrupted. And how unprepared even well-intentioned communities can be when systems fail. That experience shaped how I approach planning today: practical, realistic, and built for real people, not binders that sit on shelves.
Over the years, I saw the same pattern repeated again and again. Too much focus on response. Not enough emphasis on preparation, communication, and decision-making under pressure. Emergency Action Planning LLC was created to close that gap.

I bring together military-tested leadership, instructional design, and civilian emergency-management best practices to help people prepare for what’s most likely—not just what’s most dramatic.

My background includes:

• Retired U.S. Army Senior Infantry Drill Sergeant, Operations & Training NCO
• Course designer and instructor for leadership and planning programs
• Educator with the American Red Cross
• Consultant specializing in all-hazards emergency planning, business continuity, and risk-informed decision-making
