Day Eight of the 12 Days of Christmas – Communication

Today is day eight of the 12 days of Christmas my gifts for you today is communication.

Leaders Are Expert Communicators

Understanding That To Master Communication They Must Listen As Well As They Speak.

Master Leader’s definition: to deliver your message in a profoundly impactful way.

Communication is a two-way street. True leaders understand that to master

communication they must listen as well as they speak. They realize that they were

born with two eyes, two ears, and one mouth for a reason, and by using all of their

senses they can connect with their environment, whether it be one person or one

million people. A leader´s effective communication is directly related to what has

first been communicated to them in various forms. Then with a clear picture of

what´s needed, leaders are exceptional at speaking and/or presenting concepts and

ideas so that other people “get it”. They are not interested in simply saying what they

want to say but rather are committed to communicating a message that stirs the

emotions of their audience and at the same time provides and understanding of

information that is usable.
