“Hurricane season officially started on June 1st. Have you done anything to get ready?”

Earthquakes, wildfires, and tornadoes have their own seasons

Hello Daniel here, push here>>

For years it has been my passion to bring awareness of what you must do before, during, and after the disasters and emergencies that will befall most people at some point in their lives. Thats why I have created a unique training program, and I would like to share it with you.

You know its absolutely true, most Americans have not taken the time to plan, or prepare their families for the future. No, I'm not talking about your financial future, your retirement, or your children’s college education. I'm talking about things that stay swept under the carpet, and go bump in the night.

Imagine if you will: You’re enjoying a wonderful dinner with your spouse at your favorite restaurant; the kids are at home with Grandma. You have been waiting for this night for weeks. Suddenly the building is vibrating, car alarms are going off up and down the street, and plates are skittering off the tables around you, crashing to the floor. A crack appears in the wall across from you, and the lights go out. You realize you are in an Earthquake. "Have you planned and prepared yourself and your family??"

Community Disaster Response: "We realized that when a disaster happened, whether an earthquake, storm or terrorist activity, the people on the scene were actually the first responders and, in a major event, they were often the only responders for possibly long periods of time. "

Frank Lucier, San Francisco FD Retired

"Emergencies will come in several different ways."

"Four categories of disasters and emergencies."

Natural: Mother Nature will throw at you. Earthquakes, Forest Fires, Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Floods, Severe Storms, just to name a few. Statistically, more people will become displaced and die due to natural disasters, than from any other type of event.

Manmade: Hazards are created by the technologies that provide us with the lifestyles we take for granted in our every day lives. Bophol, India and Three Mile Island are two extreme examples of man made disasters. However due to the risks associated with technological hazards. Even a small event can adversely affect a large population base.

Civil: The disruption of our financial, political, or social norm caused by activists or agitators determined to disrupt the quality of life through demonstrations or riots. The recent rioting in France is a good example of a Civil Emergency.

National Security Issues: The events of September 11, 2001 are a stark reminder that we are not immune to the forces that are changing the world we live in.

“Don't Panic, You've planned and prepared for this... Right!"

International Red Cross: "Disasters Will Outstrip Aid Effort. There is a natural limit somewhere to what humanitarian assistance can do; we are afraid that there will be a point where we can no longer provide assistance."

Peter Capella, The Guardian of London June 29, 2001

Time is of the essence and it is running out. If you don’t do anything about the earthquake, hurricane, flood, or wildfire that you have been dreading for so long. You will have no one to blame but yourself. You need to take action now.

"Here And Now."

According to many surveys being conducted on the subject of emergency preparedness well over 65% of the population have done nothing to prepare for the emergencies that will happen sometime in their lives. Duracell Survey

Few people have any next, they live from hand to mouth without a plan, and are always at the end of their line.

Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 - 1882)

The Emergency Action Planning workshop is a unique training program. A program that will enable you to create a workable Emergency Action Plan that will address the hazards and needs unique to you, your loved ones, and your situation. The next online workshop starts on October 6th, 2008.

I am offering a six-week, private, online intensive workshop to a group of no more than 25 people on the subject of "Emergency Action Planning." This will be a powerful event for you.

"This training is for people who are concerned."

This training is for people who:

  • Live in areas of flooding, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, volcanoes, forest fires, extreme heat, or drought.
  • Live near places where hazardous materials are manufactured, stored, or transported.
  • Are concerned about chemical spills, radioactive material dumps, nuclear power plant accidents, and national security threats.
  • Are concerned about any event you have no control over that could adversely affect your life, family, loved ones, and property.
  • Would like to have some control over events that seem to have a life of their own.

Putting together an Emergency Action Plan and planning a military operation have some striking similarities.

  1. There is an end result: Protect my family, Save my Property, Get out of Danger. (Mission)
  2. There is a hazard: Earthquake, Hurricane, Flooding, Wildfire, etc. (Enemy)
  3. There is ground to be covered: Are we going or staying. (Terrain)
  4. There are those involved: Family, friends, or neighbors. (Troops)
  5. Time is of the essence: How much time is there to use. (Time)
  6. What is the community doing? Will they help, or hinder. (Civil Considerations)

"The Benefits of having a plan."

  • Emotional: You will know that you have done everything possible to ensure the immediate safety, health, and welfare of yourself and loved ones, during a time of emergency.
  • Physical: You and your loved ones will know where to go, when to go there, and what to do if you are evacuating, or staying in place. Reducing the risk of personal danger.
  • Psychological: Disasters and Emergencies create stress. You and your loved ones will not fall victim to these stressors because you have already planned and prepared for these events.
  • Social: Disasters and Emergencies will place a demand on emergency personnel and services in your community. Being prepared will make you an asset. Not a burden on the community.

As a general rule, the more effort you put into Emergency Action Planning the easier you will be able to cope, should the worst arise. Naturally having a well prepared Emergency Action Plan is just like having auto and health insurance. You’re not planning on getting in an accident or becoming ill. But you have insurance, right?

Creating such a plan is where this training program will assist you. Natural and manmade disasters will come. It's not a matter of if, but when.

If you have come this far I commend you. It saddens me to say that most people will do nothing, and expect to be taken care of by some stranger during an emergency. You obviously are not one of those people.

“Let’s cut to the chase.”

"The Emergency Action Planning E-Course"

A six week workshop limited to a class of 25 people. Each week you will receive new multimedia lessons with assignments, feedback and one-on-one coaching from me. Why only 25 people? I want to be sure that I can give you the necessary attention that you deserve. During my time as an Instructor of the Army’s Noncommissioned Officers I have learned that a larger student load would prevent me from attending to your needs as I would like to.

"What will it take?"

During the course of this training workshop you will cover twenty one (21) training objectives. Notice I define this as a workshop. Why? Because there will be work involved.

The time it will take to develop your Emergency Action Plan will depend on the time and energy that you can realistically put into it. Depending on you and your resources this process will take from six weeks to three months. Idealy you should have your plan in action at the end of the six week training period. But some people need more time to accomplish things. If you have'nt completed your plan within 90 days, you probably wont finish it. Thats just human nature, the longer we take to accopmlish something, the better the odds that it wont get finished.

"No doubt there will always be genuinely natural hazards - whether floods, droughts, storms or earthquakes. But today's disasters are sometimes manmade, and nearly always exacerbated by human action - or inaction,"
UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, Geneva Switzerland, July 6, 1999

“My Two Part Guarantee”

If you can follow instructions, make a decision. And follow through, then you will develop a unique Emergency Action Plan specifically designed for you, your loved ones, and the risks that dominate where you live.

This plan will be based on the risks that you have identified as relevant to your geographical location, and your unique family situation.

A) I promise that at the end of the first lesson if you decide that this is too much work for you, and you would rather leave the safety of your loved ones in the hands of a stranger, I’ll refund 100% of your tuition.

B) I further promise that if at the end of 3 months (90 days), the six (6) week training period, and a six (6) week implementation period, if you are unable to create a viable, Emergency Action Plan developed on the criteria that you have identified, I will refund 100% of your tuition.

How can I make such a bold guarantee: You will be qualified. During the qualification survey, I will determine which candidates I believe can and will complete the course. And continue to implement the knowledge in an ongoing effort to protect themselves and their families. If I don't believe you have what it takes, I will not let you waste my time, nor will I let you take a slot from someone who will benefit by following through with their training.

With over 24 years experience in the US Army, 17 as a military instructor, I know that if you can follow instructions, make a decision, and follow through, You will be successful in creating your unique Emergency Action Plan.

The course tuition is $697.00 per person. This low price wont last for long.

If you think thats too much, let me ask a question. How much have you spent on automobile, home and health insurance this year? Probably less that you spent on your last vacation. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics people spend more on entertainment each year than practically anything else. How much are you and your family worth?

I am looking forward to your families safety.
